Tricia is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a Licensed Counselling Therapist with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick. She has a passion for walking with therapist as they gain experience in the field.
Supervision is a key element for any psychotherapist/counselling therapist. Tricia's approach is very organic and aimed at fulfilling the requirements, not just for practicum, but to also prepare you for post-practicum supervision on the way to a full practicing licence.
Tricia strives to help future therapists create healthy professional boundaries and work ethic. We consider the importance of adhering to work schedule while providing top-notch care for clients. We also practice a safe enough workspace to discover and maintain professional boundaries.
This is for a placement on site at the Chesley Drive location in Saint John, NB. MACP students will have opportunity to fulfill practicum hours in-office and through our community partnerships. In this placement option, students will have the opportunity to develop and implement group counselling alongside a licensed therapist*, serve individual clients both virtually and in-person, and provide low-to-no cost counselling options for clientele. Students will also have access to our scheduling platform.**
*maximum of 80 hours permitted
This is for MACP students who have found a placement site and still require a clinical supervisor. Practicum direct contact hours will be fulfilled according the to site in which the student is located. Supervision hours will be completed either in-person at the Chesley Drive location in Saint John, NB, or virtually through Zoom*.
*students are NOT required to purchase a Zoom subscription
MACP students in the virtual placement option will have the opportunity to provide low-cost counselling virtually to clientele*. Virtual placement students will have access to our online booking/scheduling platform.** Virtual placement students may also have the opportunity to develop and implement an online group counselling program with a licensed counselling therapist.***
*Students will need to verify clinical practicum supervisor requirements for their provincial regulatory bodies for licensure before confirming virtual placement

Tricia has been a professional member of the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick since 2021. She has completed all licensing requirements and received her status as a Licensed Counselling Therapist as of 2024
Tricia has been a Yorkville University MACP practicum supervisor since 2023.
Thirty 60-90-minute supervision sessions to meet the 30 hours of supervision requirements for Yorkville University MACP program practicum portion.
Total cost: $3000 ($100 per session; set up as monthly or bi-weekly sessions)
Twenty 90-minute (or thirty 60-minute) supervision sessions to meet the 30 hours of supervision requirements for Yorkville University MACP program practicum portion. Total cost $2500 ($500 less than pay-as-you-go; $83.33/supervision hour)
Two payment instalments of $1300
Total cost: $2600 ($400 less than Pay-as-you-go; $86.67/supervision hour)
Three payments of $866.67
Total cost: $2600 ($400 less than Pay-as-you-go; $86.67/supervision hour)
Six monthly instalments of $433.33
Total cost: $2600 ($400 less than Pay-as-you-go; $86.67/supervision hour)
The option to book one session at a time with no membership or package. Required supervision hours will still be ahdered to for the duration of your practicum.
